Have your say on the Lampton Park Proposed Designs

Overview

Lampton Park sits along Hounslow Central, Hounslow West and Heston East. The Council is making improvements to the park to ensure it is more inclusive, accessible, and a destination spot for Hounslow. You are now asked to review and give feedback on the proposed changes to the park.

Why are we engaging again?

Thank you to everyone who shared their views on what improvements were needed for Lampton Park as part of the Make your Mark - Lampton Park project. This project involved many discussions with community groups, local residents and equality networks to gauge insights on their lived experiences in Lampton Park and created this insight. Your support has helped the Council understand the current use, limitations and aspirations for this well loved park.

What do you think of the new designs?

Please complete the survey and share your thoughts or come and talk to officers from the Parks team at a drop in session, schedule available below.

We have also included two community asset designs within the survey but these are not included in this current project, however it is a vital part of a visioning exercise to help us imagine how these spaces could be used in the future.

Anyone and everyone who has visited or still visits the park, whether passing through or enjoying the amenities the park has to offer.

What happens next?

The survey will be open for 6 weeks from Monday 1 June, once closed, a report will be created and outcomes will be shared on this page.

A construction package will be curated with the commissioned landscape architect and the final design will be ready to share and award to a contractor to start the works from Winter 2026.

The aim with these improvements is to:

• Encourage more use of the park for all users, ages, genders and demographics.
• Focus on creating more welcoming, open entrances of which will include explore sightlines, increasing natural surveillance and opening up closed spaces.
• Highlight any opportunities for community engagement/development
• Increase the mental health and physical benefits of being in green spaces
• Encourage activation.
• Continue to provide free provision of recreational facilities.
• Increase environmental awareness through enhancing access to nature in biodiverse rich spaces.
• Offer enjoyable green, open spaces in a sustainable, accessible and adaptable area.
