The Lampton Park Community Garden development project is new for 2024, and is kicking off in spring.
This year, it will focus on the maintenance of a Herb Garden which centres around lots of different cultures including African, Asian, Eastern European cuisine, and more. The accompanying workshops take place through spring and summer and are delivered by horticulture and gardening experts.
This May and June – Pop-up workshops are coming to the new Lampton Park Community Garden. These sessions will focus on developing a herb garden and will be hosted by Cultivate London and Urban Trailblazer.
These workshops will consist of learning how to sow seeds, plug plants, complete root cuttings and be part of the garden creation. We also are keen for this to serve as a space for you to teach us skills you might know about gardening, meet likeminded individuals, and create a sense of ownership in a much-loved park.
To kickstart the project, we will be completing works from March to April which will consist of the development and installation of:
• Fencing
• Raised beds
