Thank you all for your feedback on these proposals.
After receiving supportive results from the consultation, the scheme has been approved. The report and appendices can be accessed using the links in the “Important documents” panel on the right of this webpage. A letter has been sent to residents informing them of the consultation outcome.
The scheme is due to go live on Monday 1st June 2026.
To secure an exemption to the school street, eligible vehicles must be registered. Exemptions are availableforvehicles registered at all properties on Fairmead Close and Whytecroft, as well as Nos. 141, 143, 156 and 164 Cranford Lane.
Blue Badge holders, and delivery vehicles will also be exempt from the restriction, though they will also be to be registered by the resident they are visiting.
