Overview
We would like your views on our proposal to install a red route clearway and improvements to several bus stops along Wellington Road South, Hounslow.

Given the limited carriageway width and parking arrangement, the H28 bus service, refuse and delivery vehicles can have difficulty manoeuvring along Wellington Road South.
The current restrictions on Wellington Road South has ‘No waiting at any time’ (double yellow lines), which is to be improved by converting to ‘No stopping at any time’ (double red line) restrictions.
We are also proposing changes to several bus stops along Wellington Road South which you can find on the attached plans. These include relocating bus stops to wider footways and widening existing footways.
Further to these planned proposals, we are also converting the existing one way access of St Heliers Avenue to a two traffic with proposed entrance and exit at junction of Hanworth Road. The junction of St Heliers Avenue with Wellington Road South is proposed to be closed, providing additional footway width allowing for relocation of bus stop and two new planted trees at this location.
