World Mental Health Day event

To celebrate World Mental Health Day, Think Well will be hosting a special wellbeing event on Friday 9th October, 3:00pm – 900pm at Beavers Community Hub.

 

The focus is on the importance of looking after our wellbeing through sleep, mindfulness, relaxation and physical activity. Young people will have the opportunity to take part in a range of fun and interactive activities, including sports-based challenges, mindfulness exercises, discussions about managing stress and disappointment, and practical tips for improving sleep and wellbeing.

 

The event is free and open to young people aged 11-18 in Years 7–13. Whether you're looking to learn new coping strategies, meet new people or simply take part in some positive wellbeing activities, we'd love to see you there.

Join the Police for an interactive session designed specifically for young people exploring the risks of gangs and child exploitation. Learn how to spot the warning signs, protect yourself and your friends, and understand where to go for help if something doesn't feel right.

Youth star activity with Beezee Youth

4:30pm - 5:30pm

Join Beezee youth for an interactive session using the Youth Star, a tool designed to help reflect on different areas of your lives, recognise your strengths, and think about any goals you would like to achieve in the future. 

Whether you're thinking about your next steps or just want to understand yourself better, this session will help you identify what's going well and where you might like some extra support.
