Recruitment for the Residents Panel closed in June 2025, with over 2,000 residents now taking part from every corner of the borough. The panel brings together a diverse mix of voices to help shape council services, policies, and future planning.

The panel is independently run by SMSR Research Ltd, who invite members to surveys, focus groups, interviews and workshops, depending on the topic. Participation is always voluntary, and all information is used strictly for research purposes.

This page provides an overview of what the panel has helped achieve, ongoing ways to get involved, and what’s coming up next.
