Hounslow's New Residents Panel!
The Hounslow Residents’ Panel brings together local voices to share views on the issues that matter most. Whether it’s about local services, policies, or new projects, your opinions help guide decisions and improve life for everyone in the community.
Recruitment for the panel closed on 28 June 2025, and we’re delighted to have over 2,000 residents from across the borough now signed up and ready to get involved.
What is the Residents’ Panel?
The Residents’ Panel is a group of local people who take part in:
Online or phone surveys
In-person or online focus groups and workshops
Research on local issues, services, and future plans
Whether you're passionate about your neighbourhood, care about local services, or just want to have your say, the panel is a great way to get involved and make a difference.
We want to hear from residents of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences – to ensure the panel reflects the full diversity of Hounslow.
How Does It Work?
The panel is run independently on behalf of the council by SMSR Research Ltd, a trusted research company. When we need feedback on a particular topic, SMSR invites relevant panel members to take part.
You might be asked to:
Share your views in a short survey
Join a focus group or workshop
Give feedback on a new idea, service, or proposal
You choose which activities you want to take part in – it’s always voluntary.
