Your views on a Public Space Protection Order in Montague Road West Car Park
This consultation is now closed. Many thanks to the very many people who contributed. We have assessed the responses and shared with the Council's Cabinet who decided to implement a Public Space Protection Order for Montague Road Car Park in November 2025.
A total of 170 responses have been received to the consultation. These were received online via Let’s Talk, hard copies completed and focus groups.

Following the consultation results and the ongoing issues at the car park, the Cabinet approved proceeding with the order. Signage has now been installed, and the order is fully enforceable.
