Proposal Overview
We are proposing to install a new buildout from the east side of the footpath on Harvard Road, at the junction of Grosvenor Road. The overall aim of the project is to improve pedestrian accessibility.
What are we proposing
The buildout is proposed to be placed on the east side of the junction bell mouth. The buildout will extend into the carriageway. The aim of this is to make the distance that pedestrians will need to cross, and making the pedestrian crossing more conspicuous. In addition to this, we are aiming to create some green planting space.
As part of this scheme, 2 parking bays on the east side of Harvard Road will be removed in order to make room for the buildout.
How to respond
Full details of this proposal, including plans are available in the document widget on the right hand side of this webpage, at the bottom of the page is a short survey we would encourage you to complete to let us know your views on the proposal.
The consultation is open untilFriday 22nd November 2024.
