Consultation has concluded
Overview
As a result of a petition from residents raising the issue of non-resident parking, the council carried out a preliminary consultation regarding the introduction of a CPZ in the High Street ‘area’, Cranford, between 8 January 2024 to 5 February 2024.
Consultation survey and outcome
The results of the consultation, which can be viewed at item 13 via the following link: Agenda for Chief Officer Delegated Decisions on Friday, 12 July 2024, 12:00 pm | London Borough of Hounslow (or the “Outcome of Prelim. Consultation - Resident Notification” letter via the “Documents” section on the right of the page), indicated that there was marginal support for the CPZ. However, as a result of the limited feedback received during the consultation, and following discussions with local ward councillors, it has been agreed that the High Street ‘area’, Cranford proposed CPZ is withdrawn.
What happens next
As the CPZ proposal has been withdrawn in its entirety, the consultation process is now closed and there will be no changes to current on-street restrictions.
