Consultation has concluded
In response to correspondences from residents about refuse and other large vehicles finding it difficult to navigate the "roundabout" at the northern end of Burns Way, we are consulting on proposals to extend the overrun area on the south-eastern and northern sides of the roundabout.
No waiting at any time restrictions (double yellow lines) are also proposed around the roundabout to help remove obstructive parking. Vehicles would still be able to load on the double yellow lines for a maximum of 40 minutes, so long as no obstruction is caused. There will be no loss of parking capacityas a result of this proposal.
Plans outlining the proposals can be found under "Consultation Plans" on the right hand side of this page
How to respond
Please complete the short survey by clicking on the “Take Survey” button below by Monday 12 August 2024. A copy of the proposals and the consultation letter can be accessed using the links on the right hand side of this page. If you require this information in an alternative format, please leave a question by clicking on the 'Questions' button below. Alternatively, you can contact us by emailing consult@hounslow.gov.uk or calling 020 8583 3322.
We’re unable to respond directly to every respondent, however all feedback will be summarised and presented to your ward councillors along with our recommendations. The outcome of the consultation will be available to view on this webpage once a decision has been made, which is likely to be Autumn 2024.
