Consultation has concluded

This consultation closed on 12 August 2024.

Thank you to all those who participated in this consultation.

Following the consultation, residents raised concerns regarding the implementation of double yellow lines, with some also questioning the necessity of the current grass verge size. In light of this feedback, we have decided to omit the double yellow line restrictions from the scheme while proceeding with the widening of the overrun space to facilitate improved access for larger vehicles.

Maintaining access to all residential properties, particularly for emergency services, is a key priority. We believe this revised approach strikes an appropriate balance between operational requirements and residents' concerns. An alternative option would have involved the removal of a parking bay outside property No. 118 to provide unobstructed access; however, reducing residential parking provision is not a preferred course of action.

Works commenced on 06 April 2024 for a duration of two weeks.

A copy of the 'construction letter' sent to residents is found under 'Documents' to the bottom/ right of this page.
