Green Skills Bootcamps

Land Management and Arboriculture Bootcamp is a free four-week courses aimed at helping residents in Hounslow progress in the green sector by giving them access to training, work experience and a guaranteed job interview upon course completion. Residents must be aged 19 or over, and currently unemployed or in receipt of means-tested benefits.

The Bootcamp is funded through the Mayor of London Skills programme and is in partnership with Lampton Services, Hounslow Highways, and Maydencroft.

    This September Hounslow Council will launch the fourth Green Skills Bootcamp, which provides training and opportunities for residents looking for work in the green space sector – which includes landscaping, trees and grounds keeping.

    The course lasts 14 weeks and offers the chance to gain industry-recognised certificates, on-the-ground experience through local work placements and a guaranteed interview on completion.
