Summer on the Green – A Fun-Filled Day for the Whole Community!
Join us at our Summer on the Green events and enjoy a fantastic family-friendly day packed with activities, information, and opportunities to get involved in your community.
Meet representatives from our Housing Services teams, who will be available throughout the event to offer advice and support on welfare benefits, tenancy matters, anti-social behaviour concerns, and other housing-related issues. This is a great opportunity to speak directly with your Housing Officer, Council officers, partner organisations, and local stakeholders.
Come and meet the Housing Engagement Team, who work closely with residents to help shape and improve housing services. We are always looking for volunteers from diverse backgrounds to get involved in resident groups and projects that support and influence the future of the Housing Service. Whether you can give a little time or a lot, we'd love to talk to you about opportunities that might suit your interests and availability.
Residents will also have the opportunity to take part in a walkabout around the estate with senior Council officers, giving you the chance to raise local issues, share feedback, and discuss ideas for improving your neighbourhood.
There will be plenty of free activities for all ages, including:
Face painting
Arts and crafts
Ice cream van
Free snacks and refreshments
Family-friendly games and activities
