As part of London Borough of Hounslow Council’s commitment to create facilities that are fit for purpose and support the wider health and wellbeing agenda Max Associates has been appointed to complete a Built Facility Strategy.
The Built Facility Strategy will be underpinned by the Council’s vision:
“to make Hounslow a greener, healthier, cleaner, thriving, safe and liveable place.”
The assessment of the indoor built sports infrastructure is a supply and demand model to assess if there are enough facilities of the right quality to meet current and future demand as well as being accessible and affordable.
This will help to safeguard existing provision and identify where new provision may be required.
As part of this strategy, we would very much like to consult with schools and sports clubs across Hounslow to inform the future direction of leisure and indoor sports facilities in the Council area.
We would therefore be grateful if your school or sports club could complete a short survey by 15th of November 2024.
