Can I apply to a site which has already been taken?
Only one stall will be permitted to operate at a time on any site, on a highest scoring / first-come-first-served basis throughout the programme. In the event that a promising bid is submitted for a site which has already been assigned, the operator will be contacted and alternative sites will be discussed and offered as appropriate.
What are the available contract lengths?
Vendors are required to specify the preferred length of contract as part of their application.
Is there a charge?
Successful applications will be charged an initial £50 administration fee, followed by their proposed pitch license fee monthly in arrears.
Are there any sites excluded from this programme?
Yes there are 8 sites excluded from the programme.
4 sites within the Parks Team Service, as they already have concessions on site
4 sites NOT within the Parks Team Service, as they are not managed by us.
Other sites may also be excluded if the offer is inappropriate, this will be discussed with the lead officer once the application has been submitted.
Please keep in mind: Some sites may also face licensing restrictions depending on the offer due to restrictions on selling ice cream in the vicinity of schools.
