    Can I apply to a site which has already been taken?

    Only one stall will be permitted to operate at a time on any site, on a highest scoring / first-come-first-served basis throughout the programme. In the event that a promising bid is submitted for a site which has already been assigned, the operator will be contacted and alternative sites will be discussed and offered as appropriate. 

    What is the maximum and minimum duration I can apply for?

    The maximum contract length will be for 184 days (from 30 April  – 31 October 2025) and the minimum will be for 61 days (1 September – 31 October 2025). Vendors are required to specify the preferred length of contract as part of their application. 

    Is there a charge?

    Successful applications will be charged an initial £100 administration fee, followed by their proposed pitch license fee monthly in arrears.  

    Are there any sites excluded from this programme?

    Yes there are!

    4 sites:Dukes Meadows, Turnham Green, Redlees Park and Boston Manor Park, which already have concessions provision on site. 

    Other sites may also be excluded if the offer is inappropriate. 

    Some sites may also face licensing restrictions depending on the offer due to restrictions on selling ice cream in the vicinity of schools. 

    What are the public liability requirements?

    • Public liability insurance with a limit of indemnity of not less than £2,000,000.00 (TWO MILLION POUNDS) in relation to any one claim or series of claims; 

    • Employer's liability insurance with a limit of indemnity of not less than £5,000,000.00 (FIVE MILLION POUNDS) in relation to any one claim or series of claims; 

    • Product liability insurance with a limit of indemnity of not less than £5,000,000.00 (FIVE MILLION POUNDS)
