Young people consultation - shorter version

Hounslow Council wants to hear what young people think about homes, communities, and neighbourhoods where they live. Please answer as honestly as you can. Your answers will help us improve homes and neighbourhoods for everyone in the future.

This consultation asks what you think about the priorities the Council has chosen for how it will shape its housing work. These are big goals that the Council wants to focus on. Later, more detailed plans will be made on how it will carry them out.

1.

The Council already helps people who don’t have a safe place to live, including young people staying with friends, family, or at risk of becoming homeless. We offer advice, support, and emergency housing where possible. We want to do even better.

Please tell us how much you agree with this statement:  The Council is doing enough to help people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

The Council looks after many homes and tries to keep them safe, warm, and in good condition. They also help fix things when they break.

4.

The Council is working to make sure that in the future, people can afford homes to rent or buy in Hounslow.
