    Dear Resident,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

I can confirm that the Area Forum is scheduled to take place on 14 September. However, the venue for this meeting is Isleworth Public Hall, South Street, Isleworth, TW7 7BG, not St John's Road.

If you require any further information regarding the meeting, including the agenda or supporting documents, these can be found on the relevant Area Forum page on our main Hounslow website. Alternatively, please contact the Community Development Team or Community Development Officer, and we will be happy to assist.

    Kind regards,

    Community Development Team

    Dear Resident,

Thank you for your feedback, and I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty locating the information.

You can access information about Area Forums through our Let's Talk Hounslow South, Isleworth, Osterley and Spring Grove platform, where you will find details of upcoming and previous meetings, including agendas, minutes, presentations, and recordings where available.

When searching from the main Hounslow website, please use the search function and enter "Area Forums". From there, select the Area Forum that covers your local area. Each forum page contains information relating to that forum, including meeting dates, documents, updates.

If you are unable to locate a specific upload, photograph, or document, please contact the Community Development Officer responsible for the ward area covered by the forum. They will be able to provide any information available and assist with your enquiry.

Regarding the Area Forum on Monday 14th September, if selecting "Learn More" is only displaying previous forums, this may be due to the way the page is currently configured. The relevant Area Forum page on the Let's Talk platform should contain the latest information alongside previous meeting records.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your feedback regarding the accessibility of information and will ensure it is shared with the relevant team for review.

    Kind regards,

    Christopher Jarvis

    Community Development Officer
    London Borough of Hounslow

Thank you for your message and for sharing your concerns regarding the recent Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) installation at Thornbury Park.

We understand that the current condition of the site may appear unsightly, and we appreciate the community’s patience as we carry out this important work. The heavy clay that was excavated during installation has been temporarily spread across the area as part of the initial construction phase. We acknowledge this is not the final presentation of the space.

    Next Steps:

The Parks Team, in coordination with Thames Water and Thames21, will soon begin the reinstatement phase. This will include:

    • Removal or redistribution of excess clay to improve soil quality and drainage.

    • Soil conditioning and grading to prepare the area for planting.

    • Reseeding or replanting with appropriate grass and native species to restore the park’s natural character and ensure long-term benefits.

    • Ongoing monitoring and maintenance to support successful regeneration of the landscape.

The SUDS installation is designed to improve surface water management and enhance biodiversity in the long term. We are committed to ensuring the park is returned to a high standard and continues to be a valued green space for the community.
