Nature Recovery Stakeholder Board

The Nature Recovery Action Plan (NRAP 2023-2028) is part of Hounslow's updated Greener Borough Framework and sits alongside the adopted Green and Blue Infrastructure Strategy (GBI), November 2022. The NRAP is a precursor to the wave of new national legislation designed to improve nature within the UK, including Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS), and the UK’s new environmental targets as detailed in the Environment Act 2021.

This plan will help create improved and better-connected habitats for wildlife and improve public access to nature, help develop resilience to climate change, catch carbon and help clean air and water.

We need your contribution and commitment to help promote the Nature Recovery Action Plan and ensure its success.

This board will act as a platform for all stakeholder members to engage with each other, to share ideas, information and resources.

All information/notes from these meetings will be accessible under the Information tab on the right.

On the bottom under "Nature Recovery Forum" is a space for open discussion.

Please be kind and respectful to all. Thank you.

This project takes unmanaged land and turns them into beautiful food growing spaces that create postive spaces and collaboration between communities. Currently 5 sites have been established with a few more being planned in 2025.
