About
In 2025, we commemorate 100 years since the opening of the Great West Road—marking the birth of the Golden Mile and a significant milestone in London's industrial heritage.
The Golden Mile 100 (GM100) is a year-long programme of events celebrating this centenary, highlighting the area's rich legacy of industrial innovation, iconic architecture, and continued economic importance. The programme brings together residents, businesses, and community groups to explore the vibrant history and modern resurgence of this historic corridor, from the Gillette Factory to the reimagining of the former GSK building.
