Hounslow's Youth Offer
Following our recent engagement on the Children and Young People’s Plan, a clear message emerged: young people want more spaces and opportunities to connect, socialise, and feel a sense of belonging. In response, we are reviewing the borough’s Youth Offer.
What is the Youth Offer?
The Youth Offer is a council programme aimed at enhancing the variety of services and activities available to young people across the borough. These range from;
- Crafts, Arts and Media
- Sports and Fitness
- Education, Employment, Skills and Volunteering
- Health, Wellbeing and Community
- Independent Living and Family Support, and many more!
The Council aims to make Hounslow a borough where young residents can feel empowered to thrive and reach their full potential. Working collaboratively with our partners is key to building a vibrant, inclusive, and future-ready borough.
Next steps
The survey is now closed, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the feedback shared by young residents. Your voices are essential to shape the future of youth services and opportunities in our community.
The council is now reviewing all responses and this insight will guide upcoming decisions and help us create more meaningful, inclusive, and engaging activities.
Stay tuned and updates and next steps will be shared soon.

Hounslow Youth Council
Recruitment for the Hounslow Youth Council (HYC) is now open. This represents a fantastic opportunity for young people to become bold, ambitious leaders shaping the future of youth in our borough.
It offers students a unique platform to have their voices heard on important local and national issues, work alongside decision-makers to develop leadership skills through meaningful projects, workshops and events. Members also get the chance to represent Hounslow at the national Youth Parliament.
We encourage everyone to share this opportunity with students aged 13-18, especially those who are passionate about making a difference in their community. Joining HYC is not only a chance to influence change but also a way to gain valuable experience, build confidence, and connect with like-minded peers.
For more information or to apply, students can contact Chloe Regis at Chloe.Regis@Hounslow.gov.uk or Chelsea Mason at Chelsea.Mason@Hounslow.gov.uk.
Children and Young People’s Plan (2024)
Our Children and Young People’s Plan is a rolling document, updated each year based on the feedback we gather. This ensures it stays relevant and continues to meet the changing needs of our young residents.
