Refill - Businesses can reduce their carbon footprint by signing up as Refill Stations . By offering sustainable shopping choices, residents will be able to find businesses on the Refill App. Jazzy’s Munch Box is one example of a Heston business that offers free drinking water refills to residents; alongside 125 other businesses across Hounslow. Businesses that are already accepting reusable containers (water, coffee or food) or offer plastic-free shopping (such as loose fruit and veg) can sign up to become an official Refill Station.
Too Good To Go - Too Good To Go is an app that allows residents to reduce food waste as a business and earn back money on stock that would have been thrown away. A variety of Heston businesses are already signed up – join the network too.
A Good Thing - A Good Thing is a matchmaking platform which links local charities with nearby businesses that have things to give away, thereby diverting items from landfill and encouraging reuse. This could be furniture, IT equipment, branded merchandise, or surplus products.
Green Salon Collective - Green Salon Collective works with hair salons to recycle, compost and recover hard to recycle items such as hair, used foils, empty colour tubes, chemicals, plastic, paper and even salon towels. These waste streams would otherwise not be recycled.
