Boston Manor CPZ Review - 2026
Overview
As a result of a petition from residents, Hounslow Council is now seeking your views regarding possible changes to the Boston Manor (BM) controlled parking zone (CPZ) operational times.
The current scheme
The Boston Manor CPZ operates between Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm and includes Boston Gardens, Boston Manor Road (in part), Clitherow Road, Manor Vale and The Ride. The purpose of the existing CPZ times is to discourage commuter and business-related parking to ensure effective management of the existing parking space.
The proposals
In response to the petition received by the council, we are now seeking your views on the existing operational times and if any changes should be considered. The consultation is split into two sections as below:
- A general review of the existing times to understand if there is support to amend the current days and times of operation
- The possible introduction of event day controls (in addition to the normal CPZ operating times)
In relation to the existing times of the CPZ, the council are seeking your views on the current operational days (Monday-Friday) as well as the operational hours (9am-6pm) to understand if these are still suitable.
For the purposes of event day controls, the council are suggesting that these should operate between Noon-10pm on the days of the event, namely Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These times are proposed as they cover all periods when visitors to the event may arrive.
Swyncombe Avenue residents – whilst Swyncombe Avenue is not included within the Boston Manor CPZ, we would still like to know your views on the possible introduction of event day controls in your road.
If introduced, this would effectively mean that Swyncombe Avenue (up to the borough boundary with LB Ealing) would be incorporated into the Boston Manor CPZ for the duration of the Junction 2 event.
We would therefore request that Swyncombe Avenue residents complete part 2 of the consultation specifically related to event day controls.
Please refer to the consultation letter, which is available on the right hand side of this page, for further information on the changes being consulted on.
Drop-in session – come and meet the team to discuss any queries you have about the scheme. We will be at the junction of The Ride and Boston Manor Road between Noon and 2pm on Thursday 5 February 2026.
How to respond

When should I expect to hear back from the Council?
All feedback will be summarised and reported to your local ward counclllors along with our recommendations based on the consultation responses.
Once a decision has been made, the results will be published on this page and we will also write to all residents and businesses within the CPZ to provide an update and advise on any next steps. This is anticipated to be in March 2026 subject to no unforeseen delays.
If the consultation outcome identifies support for changes to the CPZ operational times, the council will then undertake formal (statutory) consultation. Residents and businesses will be provided with further information regarding this process in writing should any changes be advanced to that stage.
