Consultation has concluded
This consultation has now closed.
In 2019, Hounslow Council declared a climate emergency and committed to achieving a net zero carbon borough by 2030. Alongside this, the Council published Air Quality Action Plan 2018 – 2023. The Council publishes an updated Air Quality Action Plan every 5 years, documenting Hounslow’s plans to reduce air pollution and clean up the borough’s air.
During Summer 2023 the Council asked for feedback on its updated Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP 2023-2028). A consultation heard from residents and businesses on their views on the actions proposed to improve air quality in the borough over the next five years. This consultation has now closed. A proposal will be presented to the Council's Cabinet and a link to the proposal will be shared here in late 2023/early 2024.
Paper copies of all consultations and surveys are available. To request one, please email consult@hounslow.gov.uk or call 020 8583 2000.
